The 2 Sticks

Ezekiel 37:15-17 has been used by Mormons for years in an effort to prove that the Book of Mormon was prophesied in the Bible and that the two sticks mentioned here are the Bible and the Book of Mormon. A simple reading of the rest of the chapter disproves this false position and makes one wonder at such extreme dishonesty. Remember John 4:24, "truth".

In the prophetic books of the Bible, "Ephraim" and "Israel" (The tribe of Joseph being part of the confederacy) are collective names of the ten tribes who under Jeroboam established the northern kingdom after the death of Solomon. Judah was representative of those who composed the southern kingdom.
