Movie Review: God’s Not Dead

God’s Not Dead is a great conversation starter. I’m not the target demographic, so I won’t bore you with what I thought. The great thing about “God’s not dead” is it can start a conversation that can lead to something important.

Josh’s classroom arguments are engrossing, thought-provoking and well-reasoned.

On the plus side, Josh offers a well-stated argument for the existence of God, saying wisely “You don’t have to commit intellectual suicide to believe in a creator.” (USA Today)

In a mobile soundbite world, this is about as good as it gets, and you should use this opportunity to talk with people, young people, your young people. First, know your Lord, know your Bible, and know the arguments. I highly recommend…

Those who enjoyed the movie “God’s Not Dead” may remember “Josh” quoting an Oxford professor named John Lennox, when responding to “Professor Radisson”, who had himself quoted another Oxford professor, Richard Dawkins.
Well, it so happens that these two Oxford University colleagues have debated each other in real life. In this debate they each discussed their understanding of several key points mentioned in one of Professor Dawkins’ books, “The God Delusion”, pertaining to the existence of God. You can find that debate at the link below.
