You Can Know You Are Saved

This is the gospel truth on salvation—not just someone’s opinion—but the truth directly from God’s word.

Numbers 23:19

¹⁹   “God is not a man, that He should lie,

      Nor a son of man, that He should repent.

      Has He said, and will He not do?

      Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”

2 Timothy 3:16-17
¹⁶All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, ¹⁷that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Titus 1:2-3

Hebrews 6:18

2 Peter 1:16-21

These are critical truths—make sure you accept them.

John 8:47
⁴⁷He who is of God hears God’s words; there­fore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

1 Corinthians 2:14
¹⁴But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

John 10:27-30
²⁷My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. ²⁸And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. ²⁹My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. ³⁰I and My Father are one.”

Hebrews 11:6
⁶But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Romans 3:12
¹²    They have all turned aside;
      They have together become unprofitable;
      There is none who does good, no, not one.”

Galatians 3:22
²²But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

The Bible clearly says you can know you are saved and you can trust your savior.

John 3:16
¹⁶For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Psalm 103:8-14

⁸     The LORD is merciful and gracious,

      Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

⁹     He will not always strive with us,

      Nor will He keep His anger forever.

¹⁰    He has not dealt with us according to our sins,

      Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

¹¹    For as the heavens are high above the earth,

      So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;

¹²    As far as the east is from the west,

      So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

¹³    As a father pities his children,

      So the LORD pities those who fear Him.

¹⁴    For He knows our frame;

      He remembers that we are dust.

John 4:13-14
¹³Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, ¹⁴but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. {Whatever this water is—it is eternal—she will never need it again.} But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

 

John 5:24
²⁴“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judg­ment, but has passed from death into life.”

John 6:35
³⁵And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. {Whatever this bread is—it is eternal—you will never hunger or thirst for it again.} He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

John 10:28
²⁸And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

Romans 1:16

Romans 10:9-11
⁹that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  ¹¹For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

Ephesians 1:13-14
¹³In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, ¹⁴who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemp­tion of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

 

1 Corinthians 1:18
¹⁸For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Hebrews 1:1-3
¹God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, ²has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; ³who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

1 John 3:14
¹⁴We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, the Bible says you have passed from death unto life!

As a child of God who is sealed by the Holy Spirit, you cannot be separated from the love of God!

Romans 8:35-39
³⁵Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶As it is written:

      “For Your sake we are killed all day long;

      We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

³⁷Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. ³⁸For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, ³⁹nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 John 5:13
