What is consciousness?

Physicists do not have an explanation for consciousness, but they realize there is an answer, and they are trying to find it through quantum mechanics and neural networks.

Why physicists are saying consciousness is a state of matter
That’s a question that many scientists might end up pondering in detail. For Tegmark, this paradox suggests that his mathematical formulation of consciousness is missing a vital ingredient. “This strongly implies that the integration principle must be supplemented by at least one additional principle,” he says. Back in 1990, scientists determined that our universe started at a given point in a process they called The Big Bang. When those scientists made it to the top of that steep hill of knowledge and looked, they found creationists had been there all the time, sitting at the feet of God.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
   The skies display his craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or word;
   their voice is never heard.
Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,
and their words to all the world… (Psalm 19:1-4)

Before the mountains were born
+++Or You gave birth to the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.  (Psalm 90:2)

Now, scientists might be starting to understand our consciousness. When they finish climbing this steep hill of knowledge, and look, they may find those same creationists have been there all the time, still sitting at the feet of God.

How great is our Lord! His power is absolute!
His understanding is beyond comprehension! (Psalm 147:5)

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD.
+++“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways
and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9)

“To whom will you compare me?
Who is my equal?” asks the Holy One.
Look up into the heavens.
   Who created all the stars?
He brings them out like an army, one after another,
   calling each by its name.
Because of his great power and incomparable strength,
not a single one is missing.
O Jacob, how can you say the LORD does not see your troubles?
O Israel, how can you say God ignores your rights?
Have you never heard?
   Have you never understood?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
He gives power to the weak
   and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:25-31)

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! For who can know the LORD’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back? For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. (Romans 11:33-36)

This is the same God who cares for you and me…

For this is what the high and exalted One says– he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite. (Isaiah 57:15)

  1. Our true Father God will NOT put any child created in his image into a hell fire as torture or as a second death no matter what their sins, no matter if they repent in this life or not and I prove it by the true word of God. It never entered the heart or mind of God to ever do such a thing Jer7:31, Jer 19:5. The Bible is now rightly divided and delivered God’s way Rev 12:5-6. His true word turns the hearts of the Fathers to the children of God on this weblog “The Good Tale”. The world has been deceived into worshiping the god of hate, murder and revenge (Satan) 12:9. Prove all things and you will hear the true word that sets us free!

    • I think you are missing the point of Jeremiah 7:31 “They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire–something I did not command, nor did it enter my mind.” God did not command mankind to build high places to Topheth. God did not command mankind to judge mankind with fire-judgment. This passage does not discuss heaven or hell at all.

I think you are missing the point of Jeremiah 19:5 “They have built the high places of Baal to burn their children in the fire as offerings to Baal–something I did not command or mention, nor did it enter my mind.” God did not command mankind to build high places to Baal. God did not command mankind to judge mankind with fire-judgement. This passage does not discuss heaven or hell at all.

I think you are missing the point of Revelation 12:5-6 “And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, so that there she would be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days.” This is describing the care and protection of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not talking about heaven or hell at all.
