God of Peace

One of the most important concepts in the New Testament is the ministry of reconciliation. God has made a way for us to be right with him — just as if we never sinned — because he died in our place for our sins. He is the ultimate God of peace.

And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:18-21 NLT)

God has already done all the work. He has paid the full cost. It cost him his life. Now, it’s up to you. Will you accept this incredible gift? It’s better than a “Get out of jail free” card. It’s better than a Powerball or MegaMillions Lottery. It’s better than anything you can imagine. Why would you refuse?

Please read these 101 verses on the peace of the God of peace. They start with Jacob (who’s name was changed to Israel) seeking peace. They end with John writing to the churches about peace from God during the tribulation in the end-times. They were written by all the teachers, prophets, and apostles from every dispensation about every subject in the Bible. Let them change the way you think about God, your family, your neighbor, your friend, and your enemies…
